‘Eilike' is a Musk Hybrid that can be planted as a large shrub or as a rambler. The flowers are strongly scented, medium sized and have a nice, soft pink colour. They show their beautiful stamens. The repeat-flowering is good, all summer long. The young foliage has a brown tint and turns dark green when it ages. This variety requires a windy spot to prevent powdery mildew. The climbing rose 'Eilike' can be planted at a pergola, a rose bower, a pyramid or obelisk, a fence. The rose is named after Eilike Vemmer, for many years the organizer of the 'Kasseler Rundgespräche', an annual rose conference in Germany for the most renowned rose lovers.
