Extended description

Undoubtedly this is the best-known climbing rose that was chosen as the World's Best in 1997. ‘New Dawn', a Wichuraiana rambler, carries large clusters of very soft silver-pink flowers. The centre of the flower is rosier than the edge. The flowers are lightly scented and double with a bowl-shape. The first flowering in June-July is very exuberant and looks very romantic. The repeat-flowering in September-October is less abundant. This rambler does well in all types of soil and therefore also in poor soil. Even in the shade it blooms well. Starvation dew does occur.
